Price Action Trading

Price action trading makes decisions based purely on the raw movement of price on a chart — candlestick patterns, support and resistance, and swing structure — without relying on lagging indicators like moving averages or oscillators. Proponents argue it reflects supply and demand more directly and adapts faster to changing conditions than indicator-based signals. It's not indicator-free by necessity so much as indicator-light by philosophy; many price-action traders still use a handful of tools like key levels or trendlines alongside candlestick reading.
