Investor Password

An investor password is a second, read-only credential on a MetaTrader account. Signing in with it shows balance, equity, open positions and the full trade history, but it cannot place, modify or close an order — the account becomes visible and untouchable at the same time. It exists because proving a track record is a routine demand: a copy-trading platform, a prop firm, an account-management arrangement or a buyer of signals all need to see the numbers without gaining control of the account. The investor password answers that without ever exposing the master credential. Two cautions follow. It is issued and rotated from the terminal, so an old one keeps working until you change it, and it still shows open positions in real time — a live disclosure of what you are doing now, not merely of what you did.
